A traffic stop for an obstructed license plate led to drug charges and a warrant arrest on East 21st Street in Hopkinsville Wednesday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say they stopped a vehicle driven by 41-year-old Brandy Adams and found her to have an active warrant for failure to appear.
During the stop, police say she was found to have two bags containing a white powder on her.
Adams was arrested and charged with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, inadequate silencer, and rim or frame obscuring lettering or decal on plate.
