A man was trapped in his car after driving into high water on East 21st Street in Hopkinsville Saturday night.
Hopkinsville Firefighters say they were called for a man trapped in his car in high water at the intersection of Woodmill Road but before they arrived the man was able to get out of the car and to higher land.
The man was checked out by Hopkinsville EMS but did not need to be taken to the hospital.
A truck was parked next to a building in the area and was also in high water but no one was in the truck.
