An Oak Grove man was charged with assaulting the mother of his children on Chesire Way Sunday night.
Oak Grove Police say 28-year-old Garrett Weaver came to the home to bring food but was found to be under the influence of alcohol and assaulted the mother of his two children and choked her.
Weaver was later located and charged with fourth-degree assault domestic violence, intimidating a participant in the legal process, first-degree unlawful imprisonment, and first-degree strangulation.
