
A traffic stop on South Cleveland Avenue in Hopkinsville led to drug charges for three people Saturday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say they stopped a vehicle driven by 21-year-old Lataijha Cherry for an expired registration and could see a gun in the vehicle and smell the odor of marijuana.
A juvenile was also in the vehicle Police say after a search, a large amount of synthetic THC cartridges were found.
Cherry and her passengers 18-year-old Joquavius Tandy and 20-year-old Naleyah Barnes were all charged with second-degree unlawful transaction with a minor and trafficking in synthetic drugs. Cherry was also cited for improper display of registration plates.
