A mobile home on Butler Road in Christian County was badly damaged in a fire Wednesday afternoon.
Highland Fire Department Assistant Chief Doug Chilton says the single-wide home has extensive smoke and some heat damage due to a small fire inside the home.
No one was home at the time of the fire but due to the damage the owner will be temporarily displaced.
The cause of the fire was unknown.
