Announced at February’s open, H&R Agri-Power magnate and legendary local agriculturalist Wayne Hunt has been named by farmequipment.com as an inductee for the Class of 2025 Farm Equipment Dealer Hall of Fame.

Among his accomplishments:
+ The 2024 Farm Equipment Dealership of the Year
+ A record three-time selection as Best-in-Class dealer
+ A 2023 No-Till Innovator
+ Long-time service with the Kentucky Agriculture Development Board and Kentucky Agriculture Finance Corporation

Located in Hopkinsville with 20-plus satellites in Kentucky, Alabama, Illinois, Indiana, Mississippi and Kentucky, H&R Agri-Power carries Case IH, New Holland, Kubota, Kinze, Great Plains, H&S, Vermeer, MacDon, Land Pride, Unverferth, Geringhoff, Bush Hog, Humdinger, Soil-Max, Uguru and more.

Formed in 1993 behind the merging of H&R Implement Company, Inc., and Agri-Power Inc., the company has reportedly grown 2,900% in just three decades — generating more than $750 million in revenue.

In 2006, the company moved to an Employee Stock Ownership Plan, and by 2014, employees owned 18% of the company.

Hunt told farmmachinery.com, and Ag Edge Director Alan Watts, that H&R Agri-Power has only continued to display commitment to no-till farming, while over the years working to create regenerative agricultural practices.

Watts will soon have some reflections with Hunt during his daily “Traveling the Bluegrass” show.
