Jimmy D. Allen, 76, of Hardin

Funeral services for 76-year-old Jimmy D. Allen, of Hardin, and formerly of Golden Pond, will be 1 PM Sunday at J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Murray.

Burial will follow in the Ferguson Springs Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10 AM until the funeral hour.

Survivors include:
His wife, Mildred Higgins Allen, of Hardin;
One daughter, Kim Jacob and husband, Hank, of Hardin;
One sister, Tammy Holland and husband, Danny, of Calvert City;
One grandson, Ethan Morrison, of Murray;
As well as several nieces and nephews.

Bro. Brett Miles will be officiating.

Allen died Thursday, February 20, 2025, at his home.

He was born July 15, 1948, in Golden Pond, to late James D. Allen and Reba Turner Allen.

He was a retired truck driver, having worked for the Marshall County Road Department for 22 years.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding his ranger, and spending time with his grandson. He was a member of the Turkey Creek Baptist Church.

He and his wife, Mildred, married on September 22, 1968.

In addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by his sister; Patricia Allen Howle; and his niece, Chasity Howle.
