A Hopkinsville man was charged with assault and strangulation after a report of a disturbance Saturday afternoon.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say 30-year-old Juanye Jones assaulted someone in Oak Grove and then fled the area along with the person who was attacked.
The victim was located on Pembroke Road near Eagle Way, and Jones was found in Pembroke.
Jones was arrested and charged with intimidating a participant in a legal process, first-degree unlawful imprisonment, first-degree strangulation, and fourth-degree assault.
No other information has been released.
