David Andrew Good, 81, of Crofton, KY died at 9:46 p.m. Thursday, February 27, 2025, at his residence.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Monday, March 3, 2025, at Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home with Rev. David Harrison officiating. Burial will be private. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour. Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
A native of Greenville, TN he was born September 1, 1943, the son of the late Carl Good and Polly Ann Good. He worked as a plaster and dry wall finisher for Joe Hartley Construction. He served as a member of the United States Army. He was a member of Concord Baptist Church. David was known for his smile. He was happy to serve as usher at Hillcrest Baptist church while a member there. David enjoyed fishing as a hobby and having a meal from “the catch”. He liked to play Bingo with his buddies at Sr. Citizens and he and Bernice always enjoyed dancing and going to the Senior Games. He loved being a “Paps” to his grandchildren and would light up when they came to visit.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother: Carl Good Jr.
Survivors include his wife: Bernice Laster Good; his sons: David Brent Good and Eric Adrian Good both of Huntersville, NC; his daughter: Sandy (Lawrence) Blake of Crofton, KY; his grandchildren: Hunter Good, Hampton Good, Laura Durham, Heather Allen, and David Blake; his great-grandchildren: Larkin Durham, Blake Allen, Johnathan Durham, Ashlyn Allen, Kaylea Durham and Tiler Blake; and his sister: Flo Allen of Greenville, TN.
