Outstanding Youth Competed During Cadiz Rotary Speech Contest

Four Trigg County High School Interact Club members were given the opportunity to compete in a speech competition at Tuesday’s Cadiz Rotary club meeting. The International Rotary club theme for this competition was “The Magic of Rotary.”

Each student was required to give an eight-minute speech on this theme. Participants included juniors Akia Kearney, Kyra Adams, Henicey Hodge, and sophomore Ava Estes.

Kearney connected the magic of rotary to her personal struggles.

The Cadiz Rotary club is an organization dedicated to assisting the youth and seniors of Trigg County. This includes the sponsorship of the TCHS Interact Club, which is a student-led volunteer organization.
