Larry Faires, age 71, of Cadiz, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, March 3, 2025, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville, Kentucky.
Born on April 24, 1953, in Dayton, Ohio, he was the son of the late Charles Faires and the late Mary Boroff Faires.
Larry was a veteran of the United States Army. After his service, he had a successful career as an independent truck driver. He loved vintage cars and riding his motorcycle.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Charles Faires.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Constance Faires of Cadiz; his children, Charles Faires of Cadiz, Harley Faires (Melanie) of Gorham, ME, Lane Powers (Evelyn) of Texarkana, AR, Victoria Powers of Cadiz, Rebecca Auflick of Cadiz, Valerie Braden of Tallahassee, FL, and Karen Wilfong (Mark) of Dinwiddie, VA; and several grandchildren, great- and great-great grandchildren.
There will be no services at this time.
Goodwin Funeral Home, 138 Main Street in Cadiz, is in care of the arrangements.
