
National FFA Week kicked off at Hopkinsville High School with a few days of activities and a few inches of snow. The weather forced the group to reschedule some of their events, but that did not stop the enthusiasm for the weeks. They visited the station to talk about what all they got up to. Advisor Julie Gilliam discusses a visit to the museum and a scavenger hunt.
Elaina Chaudoin, a member of Hopkinsville FFA, talks about Drive Your Tractor to School Day and how FFA helped her transition into high school.
FFA gave Langley Henderson confidence that he will carry into life after school.
Naemi Henriett has a unique story of how she came to Hopkinsville FFA. (Name) is in Western Kentucky on a student exchange program from Sweden. She talks about the differences in agriculture and what she has learned.
Anthony Webster is the chapter’s treasurer. He talks about volunteering at the Salvation Army.
Jaden Gilford originally joined agriculture classes for the credits, then he learned the family behind FFA.
Advisor Leah Thomas also talked about the importance of agriculture education.
