Christian County Public Schools announced Tuesday the demolition of the old Christian County Middle School, located at 210 Glass Avenue, is underway.
All employees, as well as visitors, headed to the Board of Education’s Central Office should use caution around the demolition zone.
In order to maintain a safe, secure perimeter, driveways and sidewalks surrounding the construction area will be fenced off throughout the process. Heavy equipment will be present in the area.
Parking in front of, or near, the old property should be avoided.
Demolition is expected to be completed by mid-May.
