A tractor-trailer driver was flown to a Nashville hospital after a crash on McFarland Creek Road in northern Christian County Monday night.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say a tractor-trailer driven by Jean Saintil of Georgia was attempting to turn around in a gravel driveway when the trailer went off the road, causing the truck to overturn and spilling part of its load of live chickens.
Saintil was taken by Hopkinsville EMS to the old Lacy Elementary School to meet with a helicopter that flew him to a Nashville hospital for injuries.
