An Oak Grove man was charged with DUI after a traffic stop on Thompsonville Lane in Oak Grove Friday morning.
Oak Grove Police say they attempted to stop a vehicle driven by 44-year-old Jason Eagles for speeding, and he accelerated, passing several locations where he could have stopped before pulling over.
He reportedly had the odor of alcohol coming from him and became belligerent during field sobriety tests.
Eagles was arrested and charged with first-degree fleeing or evading police, speeding, DUI second offense, and no operator’s license.
