
An apartment fire on East 9th Street near the intersection of Mclean Avenue in Hopkinsville led to several people being displaced Monday morning.
Hopkinsville Fire Department Spokesman Captain Payton Rogers says the fire was contained to an exterior wall but damaged two apartments in the structure that has seven total apartments.
The power had to be cut off due to the damage and leading to the 11 people living there and two pets being displaced.
The cause of the fire has not been determined.
