A Hopkinsville woman was charged after an investigation into a stolen vehicle in Hopkinsville Thursday night.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they located a vehicle that had been reported stolen on Main Street in Hopkinsville parked at the Rodeway Inn on Fort Campbell Boulevard.
The investigation led them to 35-year-old Michelle Fanning, who reportedly had the keys to the vehicle and was linked to a separate theft case involving a stolen cell phone.
The investigation was a joint effort by the Christian County Sheriff’s Office and the Hopkinsville Police Department.
Fanning was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear along with being charged with receiving stolen property.
