James David Ballard Sr., 81, of Hopkinsville, passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2025, at 8:23 p.m. at his residence.
Funeral services will be private and held at a later date. Hughart, Beard, & Giles Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
A native of Sebree, KY he was born on February 12, 194,4 the son of the late J.B. Ballard and Kathern Ballard. He was a delivery driver and salesman for Pepsi-Cola Bottlers. He attended Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Marcia Lydina Tucker Ballard.
Survivors include his son: James David (Becky) Ballard Jr. of Hopkinsville, KY; his daughter Lydina (Rebel) Suiter of Hopkinsville, KY and Julie Daniel of Clarksville, TN; his grandchildren: Kayte Brooke Silvy, Koby Brewer Silvy, James Ryan Ballard, Brayden Alexander Daniel, Landen Ryan Daniel, Andruw Wesley Ballard, Bayleigh Ann Daniel, and his great-grandchildren; Cole Thomas Carpenter, Axel Thomas Carpenter, Knox Brewer Silvy, and Karsyn Laine Silvy, and his brothers: George and Joey Ballard of Christian County, KY; and his sister: Connie Owens of Nashville, TN.
