
A home on Butler Road in Christian County was severely damaged and a family was displaced Thursday afternoon.
Fairview Fire Department Chief Marc Hampton says they were called for a chimney fire and when they arrived one side of the home was fully engulfed in flames.
Everyone was able to get out of the home uninjured but the home was severely damaged in the fire.
The two-story home is located at the 9000 block of Butler Road.
Firefighters from Fairview, Honey Grove, Highland, Allegre, Elkton, Pembroke and Lacy were called to help in extinguishing the fire.
