A Hopkinsville woman has also been charged in connection to a fight with her ex-boyfriend over a phone on Moores Court Sunday morning.

Hopkinsville Police say 23-year-old Nautica George let 21-year-old Kerrie Waddell stay at her apartment despite the fact that she had a stay-away order in place, and they got into an argument over her phone.

Police say he attempted to stab her car tire, ripped the rearview mirror down, shoved her to the ground, grabbed her phone, and attempted to walk away; then she stabbed him in the back with a pair of scissors before he pulled a gun on her and stated he was going to kill her.

The fight was recorded on the security camera by the apartment complex.

Waddell was arrested Sunday and charged with first-degree criminal mischief, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, tampering with physical evidence, receiving stolen property, theft by unlawful taking, third-degree terroristic threatening, and fourth-degree assault.

George was arrested Wednesday and charged with second-degree assault.
