
A Hopkinsville woman was charged with drug possession and Oak Grove officers were credited with saving a woman’s life during a drug overdose on Naomi Lane In Oak Grove Thursday afternoon.
Oak Grove Police say they responded to the area for a woman who was overdosing on drugs and was being given CPR.
When they arrived they reportedly were able to give the woman narcan and help in trying to revive the woman while waiting for EMS to arrive.
The woman was revived and transported to the hospital. Police say 39-year-old Rachel Phillips was found in the area during the investigation and was in possession of meth.
Philips was arrested and charged with possession of meth third or more offenses.
