An Oak Grove man was charged with possession of a handgun by a convicted felon after a report of a woman possibly overdosing on drugs on Timberline Circle Monday morning.
Oak Grove Police say they were called to the home for a woman who was possibly overdosing, and during the investigation, a gun was found in the home.
Police say the homeowner, 50-year-old Sam Williford, reportedly claimed he had forgotten he was a convicted felon and took ownership of everything in the home.
Williford was arrested and charged with possession of a handgun by a convicted felon. The female reportedly refused treatment and transport to the hospital.
