Authorities are investigating after a shot was fired into an apartment door on South Main Street in Hopkinsville Monday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say they received a call of a shot being fired and a door damaged on South Main Street at the intersection of East 18th Street.
A single shot reportedly hit the door but no one inside the apartment was injured.
No arrest has been made in the investigation.
