James ‘Jim’ Craft, 76, of Hopkinsville

Private inurnment for 76-year-old James “Jim” Craft, of Hopkinsville, will be held at a later date at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.

King’s Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include:
Wife of 28 years, Vickie Craft, of Dawson Springs;
Daughters, Stephanie Holland, and Jamie Waldrop (Jerry), both of Hopkinsville;
Stepdaughter, Tonya Weaver (Carl), of Dawson Springs;
Stepson, Willie Dillingham, of Dawson Springs;
Brother, Phillip Craft (Christina), of Hopkinsville;
Eight grandchildren: Carson, Kinley, Allan, Shelby, Kendra, Morgan, Alex, Matthew;
And eight great grandchildren.

He was born August 19, 1948, in Greenville, to late Melvin and Helen Skipworth Craft.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two great grandchildren.

He died Monday, March 24, 2025, at Christian Health Center in Hopkinsville.

He was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church in Hopkinsville.

He was a US Air Force Veteran serving in the Korean Conflict and retired from US Tobacco. He enjoyed watching KY Basketball, the New York Yankees, wrestling and most of all loved picking on his family.
