A wreck on Interstate 24 in Christian County killed two people Wednesday night.
Kentucky State Police say a car was westbound and was hit by an SUV behind it both vehicles then caught fire.
The driver and passenger in the car were killed in the crash.
Firefighters from Herndon and Oak Grove helped in extinguishing the fire.
Interstate 24 westbound was blocked for several hours while the crash was investigated.
