Pembroke Woman Charged With Fleeing From Law Enforcement

A Pembroke woman was charged with fleeing from police during a disturbance on South Virginia Street in Hopkinsville Tuesday afternoon.

Hopkinsville Police say they were called for a disturbance with a woman following a man around town in a vehicle and located 23-year-old Maeson Lacy on South Virginia Street and stopped her vehicle.

She reportedly did not have her license and made remarks about harming herself, then drove off at a high rate of speed when the officer reached inside her vehicle.

She was stopped again and arrested and charged with first-degree fleeing or evading police, first-degree wanton endangerment of a police officer, resisting arrest, harassment, license to be in possession, and failure to notify address change to the department of transportation.
