
A Fort Campbell man was charged after a pursuit in Christian County Sunday afternoon.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they attempted to stop a motorcycle driven by 20-year-old Cody Dexter for going 96 mph on Fort Campbell Boulevard and he fled reaching speeds of around 120 mph.
During the pursuit, Dexter’s passenger lost her helmet before he stopped near Westgate Construction.
Dexter was arrested and charged with speeding, first-degree wanton endangerment, first-degree fleeing or evading police, improper passing, disregarding a traffic control device, reckless driving, and license to be in possession. The motorcycle was returned to the owner who had let Dexter borrow it.
