Officials with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet and the Kentucky State Police are currently assisting the Tennessee Department of Transportation — addressing current road conditions along I-24, just south of the state line.
Although the interstate remains open, some water is reported to be on the roadway along the Tennessee side of the line.
As such, TDOT has asked for help advising motorists to slow down to be prepared as they leave Kentucky. Caution signs and an expanded police presence should be expected along I-24 near the state line.
