A Cadiz man was charged after he was seen taking a battery off of a vehicle owned by a man who was found deceased on Adams Mill Road Monday.
Trigg County Sheriff Aaron Acree says 34-year-old Jerimiah Hightower was seen trying to take a battery out of a truck in floodwaters that was owned by David Duncan, who was found deceased after his truck was swept off the road in floodwaters.
Acree says Hightower was found to be in possession of a large amount of suspected meth and was arrested and charged with possession of meth.
