David Lee Duncan, 65, of Cadiz

Memorial services for 65-year-old David Lee Duncan, of Cadiz, will be Saturday, April 19, at 2 PM at King’s Funeral Home.

Burial will follow in the William Duncan Cemetery in Russellville.

Visitation will be from 1 PM until the funeral hour.

Survivors include:
His children, Cayla Duncan Rios, of Bowling Green, Cory Scott, of Cadiz, Natalie Close, of Cadiz, and Justin Close, of Monroe, Michigan;
His sisters, Sandra Jane Silvey (Rodney), of Cookeville, Tennessee, Cindy Jennett (Charles), of Auburn, and Sheila Duncan, of Morgantown;
Five grandchildren: CeCe Rios, of Bowling Green, River Oliver, of Cadiz, Rayne Oliver, of Cadiz, Jessica DeSpain, of Cadiz, and Dawson Close, of Cadiz.

Rev. Norman Cotton is officiating.

He was February 25, 1960, in Russellville, to James Thomas “Sonny” Duncan and Martha DeShazer Duncan.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy “MO’ Close Duncan and one brother, Donald “Duck” Wayne Duncan.

He died Monday, April 7, 2025.

He was a member of the Cadiz Baptist Church. He was a retired certified mechanic from King’s Auto Sales.

He loved motorcycles and anything with two wheels. He was an avid NASCAR fan and loved Dale Earnhardt.
