Second Baptist Trunk or Treat

This is a family friendly event where children 12 years old or younger can trick or treat in a safe environment. Due to the continuing risks associated with Covid-19, the following safety guidelines will be followed:
TRUNK OR TREAT COVID-19 SAFETY GUIDELINES
1. All participants will remain in their vehicles until it is their turn to trick or treat. Pedestrians will be asked to stand socially distanced in a designated area
2. All participants will be asked to register by scanning a QR code that will take them to a digital registration form. (paper forms will be available for those w/o this capability)
3. Trunks/Treat stations will be well spaced (more than usual)
4. Participants will be allowed to trick or treat on foot one carload at a time. We will allow one group to get a couple stations ahead before the next group will be released to go.
5. Only the person(s) manning the trunk will touch the treats. Children will not be allowed to put hands in a bowl to grab candy.
6. Those manning trunks/treat stations will wear face masks and gloves to distribute treats
7. Hot dogs will be cooked by gloved/masked volunteers. They will be wrapped in foil with a ketchup/mustard packet. They will then be put in a brown paper bag with a bottled water. Each guest will receive one “sack lunch” as they exit the event, as long as supplies last.
Please understand that participants are assuming all risks associated with Covid-19 and agree to not hold Second Baptist responsible if the virus is contracted.
This event is subject to change or cancellation, should the government issue a new mandate that prohibits us from gathering.
