Jennifer Bowman is a native of Western KY, born and raised in Christian County. After college and moving to Nashville in ’98, she eventually decided to seek employment in a more creative field. With previous framing and gallery experience, Jennifer accepted a position at Bennett Galleries in Green Hills. It was there that she gathered the confidence to begin creating non-representational abstract works, inspired by quality contemporaries, and surrounded by a deeply artistic community. Book covers, magazine articles, featured ads, television networks, notable musicians, pro athletes, colleges, private collectors, and financial institutions have taken hold of her work over the last 14+ years of exhibiting. While balancing time as a mom to her teen daughter, currently you can find her on an urban street creating murals, or in her home studio nestled in the historic district of Hopkinsville KY creating abstract works, alongside her affectionate feline sidekicks, Boo and Punkin’.
