Trigg County Voting Information for 2023 May Primary Election
The Absentee mail-in portal will open on April 1, 2023, through May 2, 2023. If you meet the guidelines, you may order your ballot on govoteky.com. You may also order your ballot by calling the County Clerk’s office at 270-522-6661.
Absentee Ballots may be mailed to P.O. Box 1310, Cadiz, KY 42211, deposited in a drop box at the Trigg County Clerk’s office, handed to a Deputy Clerk, or taken to the drive through window at 38 Main Street.
In-person excused voting will be allowed at the Trigg County Clerk’s office, 38 Main Street, Cadiz on Wednesday, May 3, 2023-Wednesday, May 10, 2023 during regular office hours of 8 am to 4 pm. You must have one of the designated reasons to cast a ballot during this period.
In-person early voting will be available for ALL registered voters at the Emergency Operations Center (EOC), 39 Jefferson Street on Thursday, May 11, 2023, through Saturday, May 13, 2023, from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
On Election Day May 16, 2023, Trigg voters (who did not vote early) may vote at any one of the following voting locations of your choice:
Cerulean Fire Department, 150 Turner Rawls Street, Cerulean
East Golden Pond Fire Department, 4286 Canton Road, Cadiz
Emergency Operations Center, 39 Jefferson Street, Cadiz
South Road Fire Department, 101 Oakland Church Road, Cadiz
Trigg County Recreation Complex, 303 Complex Road, Cadiz
Trigg-Lyon Fire Department, 8811 Rockcastle Road, Cadiz
The Way, 197 Lafayette Street, Cadiz
The Trigg County Board of Elections will conduct the Election Officer’s Training School, Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at 10:00 am, at Cadiz United Methodist Church, 482 Lakota Drive, Cadiz.
The Board of Elections will serve as the central counting board and will begin to process mail-in ballots on May 16, 2023, at 8:00 am.
