Western State Hospital Christmas Needs

– Western State Hospital (WSH) in Hopkinsville is seeking the help of the community in preparation for Christmas activities to benefit patients at WSH and residents at the Western State Nursing Facility. Individuals, groups, and businesses can participate in a variety of ways:

• Provide Gifts – for men and women ages 18 and older. Suggested gift items include:

body wash, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste, hand lotion, knit
caps and gloves, crossword/word search books, playing cards, composition books, and
socks.

• Make a Contribution – to purchase additional gifts and to be used for special events and

occasions throughout the year.

• Sponsor a Unit Party – for a unit of 15 patients which usually costs around $150.00 to

purchase refreshments and goodies.
Your support will help ensure that the holidays are just a bit brighter for patients and residents.
