The investigation is now fully underway into a school shooting Tuesday morning at Marshall County High School. The News Edge spoke with Lindsey Mackey who lives about a quarter of a mile from the school. Mackey tells us she received a call from her niece, who is a student at the school, saying there had been a school shooting and she was on her way to Mackey’s house.
She says her niece was in the commons area, where the shooting occured.
However, she adds her niece didn’t see the shooter.
Mackey says there was no danger to anyone outside the high school. She says law enforcement shut down the road for about 1.5 hours to allow helicopters, ambulances and the coroner on the scene, but the road has reopened.
