The question of victims rights will be one decided by the citizens of Kentucky. Senate Bill 3, better known as Marsy’s Law, officially passed the House Wednesday. Sponsor, 3rd District Senator, Whitney Westerfield says it is a good day.
He says he hopes others will see the importance of a bill that allows crime victims to be involved in the process.
The question will appear on the November General Election Ballot.
Westerfield says he will serve as the County Chair for Christian County in the effort to get a yes vote on the constitutional amendment.
