Authorities say an Oak Grove woman walking with a child was hit by a vehicle on Hugh Hunter Road Friday morning. Christian County Sheriff's Captain Chris Miller reports the accident occurred shortly after 5:20am at Idlewood Road.
He says 52-year old Rosemary Butterworth was walking in the roadway on the north side of Hugh Hunter Road when she was hit by a vehicle driven by 20-year old John Harold of Clarksville. Captain Miller indicates Butterworth was also escorting a 6-year old child.
Butterworth suffered hip and face injuries and was transported by ambulance to Tennova Medical Center in Clarksville.
