Man Accused In Trio Of Robberies Arrested

A man suspected of robbing the Rite Aid pharmacy on Madison Street in Clarksville three times in three months was taken into custody Friday. Police arrested 44-year-old Thomas Holmes, of Clarksville, after connecting him to the robberies that occurred in October, November, and on Wednesday.

Police say that in all three cases Holmes entered the store and passed a note to the pharmacist demanding drugs, after which he took unidentified prescriptions and left. Authorities say they caught a break after a witness saw Holmes run from the pharmacy and get into a green Dodge pick-up truck with a silver gas cap.

Holmes was charged with Aggravated Robbery and was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on a $100,000 bond. Police say additional charges are pending.
