A Trenton man and a man from Mexico are facing charges for alledgedly trafficking in drugs. The Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force and Todd County Sheriff's Office received information from the 19th Judicial Drug Task Force in Montgomery County, Tennessee, that there was drug trafficking in the area. The investigation Friday led law enforcement to a Chester Stahl Road residence were 15 pounds of marijuana and a firearm were seized.
66-year old Leobardo Lopez Hernandez, of Trenton, and 30-year old Angel Saldana Lopez, of Guadalupe, Mexico, were arrested and charged with Trafficking in Marijuana over 5 pounds firearm enhanced. The State Police DE/SI West, Christian County Sheriff's Department, Muhlenberg County Sheriff's Department, and the Central City Police all assisted in the investigation.
