General Abrams Visits Fort Campbell

As Fort Campbell's headquarters group prepares for deployment, some high ranking officials are stopping by. U.S. Army Forces Command Commander General Robert Abrams visited Fort Campbell this week. He was on hand to view and offer input on a Warfighter Exercise.

101st Airborne Division Commander, Major General Andrew Poppas thanked General Abrams on Facebook for his leadership and for his "sense of urgency as the Screaming Eagles continue to generate and sustain readiness." Poppas says he walked Abrams through how the world's only air assault division enhances the combined arms fight and creates multiple dilemmas for enemies on the battlefield.
