The Marshall County Grand Jury did meet Tuesday. The case against the teen accused of fatally shooting two students at Marshall County High School has been sealed by the judge. 42nd District Commonwealth’s Attorney, Mark Blankenship says the state law requires care when dealing with juveniles.
The Circuit Court meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday and Thursday, but Blankenship says with the sensitive nature of the case, the judge could choose to set a hearing on a different day.
The 15-year old is facing two counts of 1st Degree Murder and 12 counts of 1st Degree Assault. The shooting claimed the lives of 15-year old Bailey Holt and 15-year old Preston Cope. A dozen others were also shot and several more suffered injuries while trying to flee.
