A Flood Warning remains in effect until late Friday afternoon for all the Southern Pennyrile. The National Weather Service issued the flood warning due to extremely heavy rainfall in the overnight hours and a second round of heavy rainfall through mid-morning.
Weather Edge Forecaster David Powell says another period of rain will move through tonight.
Powell says some of the thunderstorms could contain severe weather.
He adds the severe storms could produce some dangerous conditions.
