A Oklahoma man will serve as the new Chief Executive Officer at Caldwell Medical Center. The board of trustees announced Thursday Dan Odegaard take over as CEO April 2 of the 25 bed critical access hospital.
Odergaard comes to Caldwell Medical Center with more than 20 years of experience in senior leadership roles at hospitals across the country. He has led organizations through service line expansions, revenue cycle improvements, electronic health record adoption, clinical affiliations cost reduction efforts and physician contracting negotiations. He most recently served as Chief Executive Officer of Perry Memorial Hospital in Perry, Oklahoma, where he managed the operations of a 26-bed hospital, primary care clinic, specialty clinic and home health agency.
Odegaard replaces interim CEO Bill Hartley.
Caldwell Medical Center Board Chairman Brent Bugg says “Dan is an accomplished healthcare leader with the experience and dedication necessary to build upon Caldwell Medical Center’s success”. He added “Dan’s deep understanding of community hospital dynamics, as well as the needs of patients and physicians, will continue to help us deliver the highest quality care to our patients”.
