Numerous Vehicles And Homes Vandalized In Clarksville

Vandals damaged 33 vehicles and 13 residences in Clarksville over the weekend. Clarksville Police Public Information Officer, Jim Knoll says the majority of the vandalisms took place are homes with streets running off of Ringgold Road from the intersection with the 101st Parkway and continued down Ringgold Road until it crosses Fort Campbell Boulevard and changes to Britton Springs Road. He notes some of the other areas vandalized to a lesser degree were long Pea Ridge Road, Blakemore Drive, Nottingham Drive, and Delaware Drive to name a few.

Knoll says the damage to the vehicles and homes consisted mainly of glass breakage without any theft of property. In most cases where the house sustained damage, the vehicles were also damaged. Victims who were at home when the damage happened told police it occurred between 1:00am and 5:00am. He adds the estimated cost of damage is over $34,000.

Police are following leads and the investigation is ongoing. Police are asking citizens to remain vigilant and call 911 if you suspect suspicious activity. Anyone with information should call the TIPSLINE at (931) 645-8477.
