The Christian County Public School District is awaiting information from the state’s Education Commissioner regarding how to move forward in filling the District 1 school board seat vacated by Geoff Bailey. Superintendent Mary Ann Gemmill tells the News Edge Bailey ran unopposed for the seat vacated by Sara Shepherd who resigned and was unable to fulfill her four-year term.
