For those who may not know, Cayce was born in Christian County and Keller says he has been given a lot of names over the years from a Sleeping Prophet and the Father of Holistic medicine to a Psychic or Clairvoyant. She says Cayce could go into a trance and give readings, primarily about health, that he did not know while he was awake or conscious.

Keller notes the treatments were complicated and not straightforward and simple.

She adds the readings are fascinating and very applicable to today.Keller says the featured speaker for the seminar is from the Association of Research and Enlightenment out of Virginia Beach, Virginia set up by Edgar Cayce in the 1930s.

She adds they will also have a bus tour of Edgar Cayce sites that will be lead by Christian County Historian William Turner.Keller notes they are still taking registrations for the seminar, which runs Friday night through Sunday. She says you can register by going to the Pennyroyal Area Museum’s website or their Facebook page and the registration includes the entire weekend. However, if you would like to drop by the museum for just one event, Keller asks that you call the museum and they will set you up for one session at a reduced cost. A tuition cost of $130 dollars includes all sessions and your lunch on Saturday, and for museum members, the cost is $120.
