A leaky roof is raising concerns about the conditions inside the Hopkinsville High School building. The News Edge received some pictures from a concerned citizen Thursday morning that were taken inside the HHS building where the leaks are occurring. The News Edge called Christian County Public Schools’ Chief Operations Officer Brad Hawkins Thursday afternoon about the matter and he says the roof is scheduled to be repaired this summer.

In the meantime, he adds some patch work has been done but some of the leaks could not be fixed.

Hawkins tells us he does not believe it is creating any health issues for students or staff.
