The Christian County Sheriff’s Office is joining law enforcement agencies across the nation in the annual “Click it or Ticket” campaign, which runs through June 3rd.
Patrol Captain Chris Miller says in a release they see way too many accidents where injured parties were not wearing seat-belts. Statistically, he adds seat-belts save lives, and there have been numerous studies to prove that. Captain Miller says you can’t argue with the science.
Deputies, along with their regular duties, will be out in full force looking for seat-belt/child restraint infractions, with increased efforts through June 3rd. Captain Miller indicates no warnings will be issued during this time as they promote and encourage safe driving habits.
