Police say a disturbance at a South Virginia Street residence landed a couple behind bars after meth, numerous pipes and needles were found in their bedroom.
Hopkinsville Police officers responded to the home in the 2300 block Thursday night where they say an investigation determined 41-year old Melissa Bardoff and her husband, 38-year old Lucas Wilks had both consumed methamphetamine during the day. During a consented search, police reportedly found baggies and vials containing meth in the couple’s bedroom along with the paraphernalia.
The couple was lodged in the Christian County Jail charged with 1st Degree Possession of Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine), and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
