Police are looking for a suspect who allegedly fled from officers and left two minors behind in a vehicle during a traffic stop in Hopkinsville over the weekend.
The police report says shortly after 5:00 Saturday afternoon officers observed the suspect driving on a suspended license. The suspect then reportedly stopped the vehicle, got out and fled and abandoned two minors in the vehicle at the intersection of Country Club Lane and South Virginia Street.
No other details were released. A suspect is listed on the report but the name and information has been redacted by police. When the suspect is arrested, officers indicate the subject faces charges of Operating on a Suspended/Revoked Operator’s License and two counts of Abandonment of Minor.
